Here is the 3+ hour (!) video where I answer all of the questions that have come in from you guys over the past few weeks for my AMA. Longest damn video I’ve ever done, by far. Enjoy.

When you announced the move to video, you said that the content would still be available as text. But the PDF for this video is only for members. Is that intentional?
Congratulations on exactly 10 years Caleb!!! According to this very blog, on 12 August 2010 you published your first article,
“Forbidden Desires – Now It’s Women’s Turn”
.
I’m looking forward to more. For pertinent, real-world, actionable content, your blog is light years ahead of anyone else.
Hello Caleb
I had another question that would have fitted in your video. I was wondering if you think that it is a good idea to have a system of a few MLTRs and a few FBs for the rest of my life. I am 22 (I know you don’t recommend an OLTR before 30 but I don’t see why I should ever, even after 30, have one) and have that system right now.
I have never been sold for the OLTR idea and would rather never in my life have a relationship more serious than a MLTR. I say that because I have enough emotional and sexual satisfaction from MLTRs and FBs alone.
What are your thoughts on that? Am I wrong?
Kind regards
Carlos
Great video and some useful info in there but it’s next to useless if I want to go back to find a specific question and take notes. Please put some timestamps in the video description or pin a comment. Otherwise the video is only good for a one-time viewing.
Yes that was intentional in this one odd case. I’m not going to pay someone to transcribe a 3.5 hour video that I’m giving away for free.
Thanks! I actually started writing blog posts in 2009 but they were short and shitty so I removed them about 6 or 7 years ago.
Perfectly fine for some men, but not most.
Correct… because you’re 22, which is still essentially a teenager. Wait until you’re 40; I promise you’ll feel differently about it then.
No. I’m not going to take the time / money to do that on something I’m giving away for free. If some people refuse to watch the video for this reason that’s cool with me.
“I’m not going to pay someone to transcribe a 3.5 hour video that I’m giving away for free.”
When you announced the new video format, you wrote in the comments: “There will always be full transcripts. Some people like to watch (video), some people like to listen (audio version), and some people like to read. I’m going to cater to all three.”
But this is clearly not true. Video is free whereas you have to pay for transcripts.
I have no interests in watching videos. And I don’t see why I should pay for text. So this new blog format is not working for me, and I suspect for many other of your (past) readers.
What’s worse is that you’re clearly not honoring what you said when you announced the new format. (You never said people would have to pay for transcripts)
Correct. I said this was an odd exception.
Incorrect. There is no transcript available for this video. I’m not charging for any transcripts. I have no idea where you got either of those ideas.
I did a 3.5 hour video for you… and you’re complaining? Please, for the love of god, unsubscribe from this blog and all of my other channels immediately and stay far, far away from my content. I sincerely don’t want readers or customers like you. Thanks.
“There is no transcript available for this video. I’m not charging for any transcripts. I have no idea where you got either of those ideas.”
That’s good to hear. Thank you for the clarification.
Where I got the idea from? At the top of this article there’s a link “Download PDF Version”. The link goes to the “member login” and the page says that you have to pay $3 per month. So my assumption was that PDF transcripts are only available via a paid subscription. I’m glad to hear that this is not the case.
“I did a 3.5 hour video for you… and you’re complaining?”
Sorry, I realized later that my message was a bit harsh. I wanted to thank you for all the free content you put out there. I know you don’t have to publish anything for free and I’m grateful that you do.
When you announced the new blog format, I was worried that text would become a second class citizen and the “Download PDF Version” paid link appeared to confirm that. I’m glad this is not the case.
Sorry again and thank you for all the free stuff you put out there. I also purchased your main book.
I watched the first 5 minutes of your video and found it pretty entertaining. While I prefer text, I see certain value in videos as they can teach us how you communicate, so maybe I’ll watch some.
Thanks!
Apology not accepted and my opinion of you has not changed. You could have avoided this entire conversation by saying one little sentence: “Is there a transcript of this video available anywhere?”, instead of bitching and complaining. As I mentioned recently already, the more time, money, effort, and sweat I put into free content the lower my tolerance for whiners with no emotional control (like you) becomes. That’s why part of me is happy I won’t have to deal with comments on my blogs soon.
Hi, I’m going through the video in short sequences as my schedule allows (enjoying it, thanks!) and now I have come to the part on drugs (coffee, alcohol). I have been breastfeeding for the past 2 years (+ pregnancy before), now I’m pregnant again. Even before, I had never been much of an alcohol or coffee drinker, though I do like the taste of high quality drinks. I used to drink green tea much more – also mostly for the taste. Not since I first got pregnant. I have not had a cup of green tea since. I have had about 10 cups of coffee altogether – I tried decaf too but didn’t like the particular one I had very much. And 3-4 glasses of white wine. Unless you’re already addicted, keeping the consumption low is not a problem, at least if you’re motivated.
Now, if you don’t like the taste, that’s another story. Then of course, why would you consume anything you don’t enjoy…
This video was fucking gold. I intend watching it 4 or 5 times. Many thanks Caleb for giving us your time. Yes it’s pretty long, but I just watched it in 1 hour segments.
What I’d ask if another future Q&A is done, is if you say you know plenty of ethnic guys (like ones who are African American, Asian, Indian, Middle Eastern) with very advanced game, who are financially independent from their own efforts and are regularly getting laid with very hot Caucasian women, for those guys willing to appear on camera, do an YT interview vid with them individually, where they talk about themselves, explain how they got good and how they got their shit together. If any are a Focus group member, or are a higher premium SMIC member, who’ve done several coaching calls with you and not just one single call, all the better.
@Simon Come on, dude, take a chill pill. I didn’t expect transcription of a fucking personal AMA from the moment Caleb announced it. The fact that he spent 3.5 hours of his valuable time doing it actually surprises me big time. If I were him, probably 1 or 2 hours, max.
Now that’s bad news.
Does that mean that the only way to get in contact with you will be SMIC membership? Will email questions still be an option?
Hah I hope my comment above didn’t put me in that category. English is not my first language so I appologise if my comment about timestamps sounded like a demand. It’s cool if you don’t want to spend time on that. Hell I would do it myself if I had more free time like I used to lol.
Hello Caleb
What do you think of men having a dream/mission of becoming a firefighter or soldier, even if that means not having a business and focussing fully on that? An officer position at either of those two gets you a pretty nice income, plus they are very fulfilling and masculine jobs.
Kind regards
Carlos
But the plan is to use that time to respond to social media comments right? Or has that changed?
I agree with your frustration all things considered.
Save your quesiton for if/when I request them again. If you ask me a quesiton here I won’t remember it by the time a 2nd AMA comes around.
I’ve answered that question several times before and I’m happy to do it again: Yes, I know men like this. No, they pretty much never want to appear on camera. Getting one of them for a podcast might be possible. I try all the time. As soon as I convince one of these guys you’ll know.
and
When you don’t respond to comments on a blog it makes the blog look a little weird, so you are “forced” to answer comments on a blog even if they’re stupid. But when a guy ignores comments on his social media (YouTube, Instagram, etc) it looks perfectly normal.
Therefore, when I stop responding to comments at the blog I will continue to respond to comments over at social media and it will be very freeing for me since on social media I can, for the first time in my life, completely ignore comments from whiners, complainers and nitpickers (unless I’m in a playful mood that day and want to fuck with them for my own entertainment).
So yes, I will always respond to comments at social media even after I remove the commenting function here at this blog. The difference is on social media I can be very choosy as to which comments I respond to and which ones I ignore. It’s going to be great. I can’t wait!
I’m not removing blog comments because I’m frustrated. I doing it because it’s the best business decision to make at this time and I like money.
I discontinued email coaching about a year ago.
Not even close to Alpha Male 2.0. A) it’s a job, B) you don’t control your own schedule, C) it’s location dependent and D) a boss controls your life. All completely unacceptable in an A2.0 world.
Do something fulfilling and masculine while being free instead of while being a slave.
Thanks for answering my question about Covid-19 Caleb!
I’ll admit I didn’t vote for Trump or Hillary in 2016, but I’ll also admit much like a lot of people, I’ve been on edge the past few months with not only Covid-19, but also the resurgence of Black Lives Matter and all the irrational bullshit that has brought to a country already on edge with conflicting reports regarding Covid-19.
I’m not in a position right now where I can easily say “Sayonara suckers!” and leave America for greener pastures abroad (particularly SE Asia where I feel I would blend right in the culture there) in part because of the ongoing lockdown/travel bans, but over the next few years, I do plan to get the hell out of America before my 30th birthday.
Again, thanks for not only answering my question, but also setting me straight Caleb. 🙂
