I wrote a typical ā€œday in the lifeā€ and ā€œweek in the lifeā€ posts several years ago, and one of the guys over at the Alpha 2.0 Community suggested it would be a good idea if I posted a newly updated version of this. Since my life has changed a little in the last several years, I think thatā€™s probably a good idea.

What follows is an example of a typical week in my life these days. To make it easier, this is a typical week where I am not traveling. (Obviously a travel week would be quite different.)

As always, I follow a decompartmentalized lifestyle, in that I donā€™t consider weekends as ā€œbreak timeā€ or weekdays as ā€œwork time,ā€ nor do I consider 8am-5pm ā€œwork timeā€ and after 5pm ā€œrest time.ā€ How stupid. All of that crap is pure societal programming that is greatly outdated from the industrial revolution from about 100 years ago. No thanks.

Instead, I live the Alpha Male 2.0 lifestyle of maximum freedom, which means I work whenever the hell I want and I relax or play literally whenever I feel like it. If I want to work all day on a Sunday, I do. If I want to go see a movie at noon on a Tuesday, or have sex Wednesday mid-morning, I do. I let my Mission, goals, and preferences guide me rather than what society says I should doā€¦ not just in my weekly schedule but in all things.

Since most normal humans consider Monday as the start of the work week, Iā€™ll map out a typical week in my life going from Monday morning to Sunday night.

Monday

9:00am ā€“ While I can wake up literally whenever I want, I wake up at 9am most mornings, and never allow myself to sleep past 9:30am, since sleeping past that time creates a sense of lethargy in most people (as I talk about in my book), and I need maximum energy. At 9am I wake up and follow my usual morning routine, which comprises a lot of things and takes about 90 minutes; weighing myself, drinking a ton of water, taking some natural supplements, TRT shots, exercise (cardio and stretching or weights, depending on the day), and shower / dress while listening to audio on my phone regarding business, success, motivation, or investment advice.

10:30am ā€“ Then begins my morning work routine, which means reviewing the schedule and to-do list for the day, quickly checking on my investments and checking accounts, updating my personal balance sheet if needed, responding to urgent email (not all email, just the urgent stuff), and answering comments on my blogs and forums. This all takes anywhere from 20-80 minutes, depending on the day. After this, if I have no appointments, I work on IIW (Improve Income Work), which means work that improves my income rather SW (Standard Work) which simply sustains my current income levels. Most people do SW all workday long, which is why they can work for years, even decades, and never experience a significant increase income. I, on the other hand, experience double-digit percentage increases in my income most years, because I make sure it happens.

3:00pm ā€“ I allow myself a little fun break. I set a timer for 60 minutes, get cozy in my recliner, fire up my game/movie computer on my big TV, and play my third favorite computer game of all time, Civilization V. Itā€™s complicated as hell and I love it; a nice distraction from consulting, writing, and other aspects of real life. I love my work, but human beings still need breaks. There’s literally five different ways you can in this game; militarily, culturally, scientifically, diplomatically, and logistically; I’m playing to win militarily (of course). I’m playing as the Assyrians, though with an early 1900’s level of technology, and I’m currently at war with Spain. I take over one of Queen Isabella’s cities and burn it to the ground, one step closer to her capital. Then my one hour timer alarm goes off; I save the game and get back to work for another hour, before I take my next break.

As an alternative, if the weather is nice (and it usually isnā€™t where I live), Iā€™ll go for walk while listening to a fantasy novel audiobook, making mental notes regarding the next novel I want to write. I live in a very quiet, low crime neighborhood (by design) and there are three parks all within walking distance. Getting outdoors is important for the modern, technological man.

Tuesday

10:30am ā€“ Appointment with one of my local business clients. With 95% of my income being location independent, itā€™s rare these days I actually have to drive somewhere to see a client, but it still happens sporadically to those few clients who want to pay my high fees to do so. As always, I will only drive between the hours of 9am and 2:30pm, and refuse to drive outside of these hours, since before 9am and between 2:30pm and 7:30pm is rush hour, and traffic is absolutely horrible during these times. Traffic is a worsening problem all over the industrialized world; it’s one of the few things technology hasnā€™t been able to fix yet (mostly because of big government regulations). It is particularly horrible on the west coast of the USA where I live. I donā€™t have time for it, so I refuse to participate.

My clientā€™s issue is they want to reduce the time it takes for their employees to field calls from their wholesale customers. I suggest setting up a system on their website where their buyers can quickly check their inventory levels, eliminating at least 60% of these incoming phone calls within 40 days. They love the idea and we start implementation. They make money, I make money, and everyone is happy, which is the way capitalism is supposed to work. (Itā€™s a shame my dying culture embraces corporatism instead.)

12:00pm ā€“ Lunch with my son. Heā€™s 26 years old now, and I try to have lunch with him at least once a month. Sometimes I fail, sometimes I succeed, since weā€™re both busy. We meet at one of the weird but yummy vegan places downtown (he’s into that stuff, having been born and raised in Portland). The entire 90 minutes is spent talking about money and business, and very little else, except maybe a little politics (both of my children are left-leaning libertarians). When I talk to my daughter, itā€™s all about feelings, experiences, and nerd stuff like superheroes and sci-fi. When I talk to my son, itā€™s all business. Weā€™re men.

7:30pmĀ  – Quick meet with my primary FB, Lunarayn (not her real name, and she doesnā€™t use that name anywhere online so Google wonā€™t help you). Sheā€™s a single mom in her mid-twenties, someone Iā€™ve been seeing for many years and whom I trust. I go to her place, which is good practice for me for when Pink Firefly moves in soon, when my home will cease being an option for FBā€™s (unless, of course, PF wants one of my FBā€™s to come over so she can watch me have sex with her, which weā€™ve done several times already). Lunarayn’s son is with her dad today, so she can see me.

Lunarayn is Pink Fireflyā€™s opposite in literally every way, which is perfect for me. Luna has very dark hair, bright eyes, small boobs, big ass, dresses in dark colors, and has a more Dominant, hard-edged personality, which would be unacceptable for a MLTR, but is just fine for a FB. (PF, on the other hand, is platinum blonde, has dark eyes, small ass, big boobs, dresses in bright, girly colors, and is an easygoing sweetheart. You canā€™t get more opposite. Itā€™s fun.)

Luna and I talk for a little bit on her couch, catch up, do the deed, and Iā€™m out of there.

Wednesday

10:00am ā€“ Coaching calls for my monthly coaching program. Guys at higher levels in the SMIC program, which I consider the core of my Alpha Male 2.0 / Blackdragon business, get one or more phone/Skype calls with me every month, and I schedule blocks of them throughout the week. In two hours I talk to four different guys from all over the world. The questions I get usually are a 50/50 split between business questions and dating/relationship questions. Itā€™s always fun talking to these guys. They also give me good ideas for future content on my blogs and my books.

12:30pm ā€“ Grocery shopping, right in the middle of the day, when not very many people are there. I buzz in and out of there as fast as I can. Free range chicken breasts, frozen broccoli and cauliflower, shredded cheese, a big bag of roasted no-salt no-oil almonds, fresh guacamole, and boom, Iā€™m out of there and back home.

Arriving home, now itā€™s time to bulk-prep food for the next seven days. I have an Android tablet mounted on my refrigerator, and I fire up a business podcast or video on there to listen to while I work in the kitchen. Clean, trim, wash, and season the chicken breasts, throw them in the crock pot, set for four hours, clean up, done. In four hours, the chicken will be cooked and tender; all I need to do is tear it up with a fork and put it in a plastic container for the refrigerator. For the next week, I can just dump some on a plate with the frozen veggies and a little cheese and microwave it. Fast, easy, and near zero carbs (I try to stay keto whenever I can). I just eat standing up in my kitchen while watching a quick YouTube video.

In the future I want a professional chef to do all of this shit for me; grocery shopping and food prep, so I can save that time. That will cost me more money though, and I donā€™t spend anything unless itā€™s in my budget, and nothing goes in my budget unless I know it doesnā€™t damage my long-term financial goals. Maybe next year.

5:30pm ā€“ Phone call with Pink Firefly. We used to see each other during the week, but both of our schedules got way too busy, so now we just stick with weekends, and talk about once a week on the phone instead. Sheā€™s extremely feminine, which means sheā€™s very talkative, so she easily does 90% of the talking, going over everything thatā€™s happened to her in the last few days. I mostly just say stuff like ā€œyeah,ā€ or ā€œhaha.ā€

Thursday

11:30am ā€“ Writing time. I write for one hour every day. This can be for a book, newsletter, blog post, whatever. A decent percentage of the income from my businesses is from writing, so I have to make sure I do it every day (or close to it). Today itā€™s blog posts for the Blackdragon Blog and the Caleb Jones Blog. I finish two rough drafts within 70 minutes and fire them off to the proofreaders, who operate on 24 hour turnaround times, or theyā€™re fired (and yes, Iā€™ve had to fire many). After my final proof, I send them to a virtual assistant who posts the articles to my blogs for me based on a preset posting schedule. Itā€™s nice; all I have to do is write, which is what makes the money. I outsource literally everything else. Alpha 2.0 101.

2:30pm ā€“ Skype call with a business contact I have in Australia. I have a tentative plan to expand my I.T. marketing company into Australia in 2019 so the more contacts I can make in this business sector, the better. I will be in Australia and New Zealand in 2018, at least once if not twice, to lay down some more foundations there.

5:00pmĀ  ā€“ Video conference call with one of the Asian companies I consult for. I want to shift about 60% of my total business income from the Dying West to the Rising East, a process that will take about four years. (Which is fine; as always, I play the long game; easier to win that way.) This company is a shipping concern based out of Hong Kong; itā€™s 5pm my time and 9am theirs. Iā€™m talking to four different guys, three of which are Cantonese Chinese but who speak English (thank god; translators are a hassle). I have to remember to speak slowly, which is hard for me, since I think fast and talk fast. We talk for about an hour and get all of our agenda points in.

As soon as I hang up, I glance over at a picture on my desk that reminds me of one of my most exciting business and lifestyle goals; a permanent office in Hong Kong, my favorite city in the world and the center of those rivers of new money in Asia. I clench my fist and say “YES!”, pumped as hell about that goal. Hopefully by 2020, if not sooner. Man, I can’t wait!

6:30pm ā€“ I go see a dumb action movie. I usually like to see movies during the daytime since I can avoid the crowds, but this week I decide to go see one in the evening, which is okay as long as it isnā€™t a weekend. Sometimes I just prefer going at night; more cozy that way.

Friday

11:00am ā€“ Get a text from one of my backup FBā€™s (i.e. not Lunarayn). She wants to hang out today. Most of my FBā€™s these days are young, since the younger they are the less theyā€™ll care if I have a girlfriend. The problem with younger FBā€™s is that they canā€™t schedule anything in advance because thatā€™s not how they think; they always want to hang out last minute. Iā€™m seeing Pink Firefly tonight, and Iā€™d rather not have sex with two women in the same day (though I have many times in the past), so I tell her that Iā€™m not free today but that I could see her Monday or Tuesday (all of my FBā€™s know I canā€™t see anyone on weekends since thatā€™s Pink Firefly time). She says thatā€™s fine. Odds are only about 40% Iā€™ll actually see her next week. Again, younger women.

11:30am ā€“ Focused IIW writing time. I put my head down and blast out two or three uninterrupted hours of writing my next Blackdragon book (The Ultimate Younger Woman Manual).

2:30pm ā€“ Briefly meet with one of my attorneys to finish up my paperwork for Pink Fireflyā€™s move-in and eventual marriage. I have to make 100% sure, no, 200% sure our finances will be completely separate and rock-solid before she moves in, after she moves in, and both before and after the wedding ceremony next August. Today is the last day with the final set of signatures on the giant stack of legally-enforceable documents. I breathe a sigh of relief; my finances are now protected, and one more project is completed and done. My attorney comments that I am probably the most careful client heā€™s ever worked with regarding co-habitation / marriage financial protection. Youā€™re god damn right, pal.

7:30pm ā€“ Once traffic has died down, I head out to Pink Fireflyā€™s apartment, my overnight bag pre-packed as usual. Earlier, she would come to my place on weekends, but since she moves in at the end of the month, it makes more sense for me to come to her so she can spend the weekend packing, with my help. I walk into her apartment and give her a big hug and a big kiss; I havenā€™t seen her since Sunday so seeing her again is always fun. I love her so much! My primary love language is physical touch, so I spend the rest of the evening sporadically holding her, hugging her, squeezing her, or playing with her long hair.

We donā€™t go out; itā€™s not in the budget (hers or mine). We just talk, relax, watch an episode of Breaking Bad (weā€™re slowly going through the entire series), talk some more, have sexy time, and then go to sleep.

Saturday

I spend the entire day with PF at her place. Usually, the day goes something like this. Wake up, immediately have sex again, shower, talk for a bit, then I work for a while on my laptop while she gets ready. Today, she packs most of the day and I take the bags of trash out of her apartment down to the trash bin (she lives on the third floor with no elevator so itā€™s a lot of stairs to walk shit down), as well as run to Home Depot to get more moving boxes.

At around five, we go out to eat somewhere cheap and healthy like Sweet Tomatoes. PF is already very skinny and tiny (we’re phyiscal opposites), but sheā€™s trying to lose weight before the wedding even though itā€™s not for another eight months. Jesus. Hot girls are always paranoid about their weight. Iā€™m so glad Iā€™m not a girl.

After we get back, we have another brief segment of our ā€œmove in talk,ā€ a talk I need to have with her that Iā€™ve broken up into several parts for easy swallowing. Relationship talks are always hazardous, and can create betaization and/or drama if they last too long or if you have them too often, so I buzz through it as fast as I can. She mostly agrees with everything I bring up, disagrees on one or two points, we compromise, and then weā€™re done. Watch another episode of Breaking Bad, have sex again, go to sleep.

Sunday

3:00pm ā€“ After another relaxing day with my lady, I leave PFā€™s apartment and head back home. On the way home, I get a text from that same FB who contacted me on Friday. Letā€™s call her ā€œJasmine.ā€ She says she canā€™t hang out tomorrow but can on Tuesday. Perfect; I just saw PF today so I donā€™t need to see anyone tomorrow; Tuesday is much better. I put her in the schedule, always remembering thereā€™s at least a 30% chance sheā€™ll cancel. Not a big deal; thereā€™s always PF and Lunarayn if I donā€™t end up seeing her this week. As usual, the Alpha Male 2.0 is all about redundancy. Makes life easier.

5:00pm ā€“ More SMIC coaching calls for about an hour, then I plan out the week, noting when I need to exercise, appointments (business or otherwise), when Iā€™m going to have sex (I need to have sex about three times a week for maximum happiness), which tasks need to be done this week, and which projects I want to focus on. That being done, I play another hour of Civilization V and then go to bed about an hour later. I try to be in bed by 11:30pm most nights so I can get a full nine hours of sleep, but often itā€™s not until 12:00am or 12:30am, which is fine, since thatā€™s still about eight hours; far more sleep than the typical American receives.

That wraps it up for the week. Since I know some of you are going to ask, Pink Firefly moves in with me this New Yearā€™s weekend, December 30th. At that time I will make a big blog post here about my objectives and plans for our new live-in relationship. Stay tuned.

  1. With 95% of my income being location independent, itā€™s rare these days I actually have to drive somewhere to see a client, but it still happens sporadically to those few clients who want to pay my high fees to do so

Lol I think I remember seeing your prices for a 30-minute consulting session and was thinking “damn, he charges like a high class escort!” I really gotta niche myself and find a way to do something similar. If people really pay this much for consulting, it’s worth it, I just gotta find something I’m really good at.

PF, on the other hand, is platinum blonde, has dark eyes, small ass

Tell her to try barbell hip thrusts in the gym šŸ˜› Or get Bret Contreras to coach her, that guy is literally called The Glute Guy in fitness circles, his stuff works.

  2. proofreaders, who operate on 24 hour turnaround times, or theyā€™re fired (and yes, Iā€™ve had to fire many).

I would be really good at proofreading blogs and have always wanted to do such a thing for money. What would be the most time efficient way to get paid to proofread blogs?

Lol I think I remember seeing your prices for a 30-minute consulting session and was thinking ā€œdamn, he charges like a high class escort!ā€

Um? SMIC Platinum is what, $400 a year? That’s not too much, all things considered. Now if you are referring to the a la carte consulting sessions, I agree. Its probably worth it however. From all the “improvement” bloggers I have come across in the last two or so years, BD seems like the most legit.

If people really pay this much for consulting, itā€™s worth it, I just gotta find something Iā€™m really good at.

Not to mention really fun. I have just started this journey myself. By next summer I intend to launch my own brand of consulting. Can’t wait to add that to my other sources of income! šŸ˜€

  3. So what do you do between 9.00am, when you usually wake up, and 11.00 am when you start the day all the rest of the week after Monday? šŸ˜›

Is the stuff she says that interesting? I can’t imagine just listening to someone for a long time on regular basis unless it was a lecture and I was super interested in the topic.

Maybe I missed something here but why do you need all this stuff? Can’t you just write in some editor with a spell checker, read it after yourself once to see it makes sense and then click update on your website?

She says thatā€™s fine. Odds are only about 40% Iā€™ll actually see her next week. Again, younger women.

This explains a lot of the stuff I’ve been experiencing recently that was pissing me off. I thought I was doing something wrong, but I was indeed starting to think its just the demographic.

when Iā€™m going to have sex (I need to have sex about three times a week for maximum happiness)

Is this really enough for you? I would call that low sex drive. But I can also see you don’t really have time in your schedule for more than that unless you wanted to have at least another 3 FBs.

  5. Lol I think I remember seeing your prices for a 30-minute consulting session and was thinking ā€œdamn, he charges like a high class escort!ā€

From all the ā€œimprovementā€ bloggers I have come across in the last two or so years, BD seems like the most legit.

The company where I work is now considering to hire an external consultant to advise on one issue we have who would charge 800 euro per hour. This kind of stuff certainly exists. The justification here is that we paid much more for some other stuff that wasn’t that useful. I guess its timing as well.

But of course membership schemes and custom ad hoc sessions will always be priced differently. In one case you have a stable income already before you did anything and in the other case you have to put lots of logistics and sometimes time and effort around and outside of the meeting plus its a one of event so you need to charge more when you might not get another for a while.

  6. If you need a chef, I have been in culinary arts since I was 18 (im 36). Have a degree in nutrition and have work side by side with some of the best in the world. It has always been my mission to work as a personal chef for a celebrity/ “rich” person. Even at the top my schedule is the worst part of my career. Just a thought love your work!

  7. So how much hours per week on average do you work BD?

30-45 concentrated work hours, 100% focused, with a timer, which you can’t compare to a 40 hour work week since a high percentage of the typical 40 hour work week is not made of up work. I used to work much less, but several years ago I jacked up my hours because I got excited about some goals.

I could maintain (but not increase) my income on just 1.5 workdays of work per week if I so chose.

What would be the most time efficient way to get paid to proofread blogs?

Go to Upwork, sign up, and start bidding on jobs.

BD, within those schedule.. when are you literally on going ā€œsocialā€?

100% of my social time is with people I work with, family members, or women I’m having sex with. That’s more than enough social time for an introvert like me. There are extroverted types of Alpha 2.0 though.

When will you write a book about asset protection?

Never. I will touch on it occasionally but I’d never write a book about such a thing.

So what do you do between 9.00am, when you usually wake up, and 11.00 am when you start the day all the rest of the week after Monday? ?

Same thing, 7 days a week, unless I wake up somewhere that is not my home.

Is the stuff she says that interesting? I canā€™t imagine just listening to someone for a long time on regular basis unless it was a lecture and I was super interested in the topic.

I never said it was a long time.

Maybe I missed something here but why do you need all this stuff? Canā€™t you just write in some editor with a spell checker, read it after yourself once to see it makes sense and then click update on your website?

Haha, oohhhhh no no no. Become a professional writer and you’ll find out very quickly how it works. Most typos that people miss are not ones that can be caught by a spell checker. Just look back at the typos commenters here have pointed out in the past; a spellchecker could not have caught them. A) You need a human being, B) you usually need multiple human beings, and C) you can’t proofread your own work (effectively).

You go to the cinema alone?

Sometimes yes. Sometimes with PF, sometimes with my daughter or family.

Why not together with a friend

Because you’re just going to sit there and stare at a screen and not interact. Spending time with a friend means you’d go to dinner or get drinks or something. I’m talking about just going to the movie and coming right back home.

or why not watch a movie at home on home cinema set up?

I do that too, a lot. Just watched Hitman’s Bodyguard at home last night.

Or you just like being alone in the middle of crowds of strangers?

I don’t go when there are crowds.

And yes, I like to go to a movie whenever I feel like it without having to spend the time and effort necessary to coordinate with other humans. Fast and easy.

Is this really enough for you?

Yes, though more is great too.

I would call that low sex drive.

That’s what I used to think as well, but I found that 3X per week is really high sex drive as compared to most other men. Read this. Remember, most men are monogamous betas or single, near-sexless betas. These guys can go weeks without sex. I’d fucking kill myself, but that’s how most men are.Ā  Very few people have sex. If you’re actually fucking 3X per week, every week, you’re in the upper 1-2% of American culture (other nations/races have more sex than Americans).

But I can also see you donā€™t really have time in your schedule for more than that unless you wanted to have at least another 3 FBs.

I’ve had many as 8 different women on rotation all at once, sex literally every day, plus multiple times other days, week in and week out. It can be done; I’ve done it, but you won’t get much else done in your life. It’s not a long-term sustainable lifestyle.

It has always been my mission to work as a personal chef for a celebrity/ ā€œrichā€ person.

I’m pretty sure you don’t live in the Seattle / Portland area, but thanks for the thought.

  8. You go to the grocery store! I am very surprised. Why dont you order online (mostly the same stuff I bet) and have it delivered? and buy stuff that is already pre-cut.

  9. @OnAMission

Maybe can goods or frozen foods. How can you order produce or proteins by mail? I like to look/smell my fruits vegetables and meats before I buy

  10. Dangers of zero carb diets, 4 parts, by Paul Jaminet, starts here:Ā Ā http://perfecthealthdiet.com/2010/11/dangers-of-zero-carb-diets-i-can-there-be-a-carbohydrate-deficiency/

  11. Why dont you order online (mostly the same stuff I bet) and have it delivered?

Not available in my area, particularly for things like fresh meat and frozen goods.

I don’t live in a city where cool stuff like that is available. I live way out in the outer suburbs.

and buy stuff that is already pre-cut

I do, but you can’t get free range chicken this way, at least in my area.

(Do you seriously think I haven’t thought of this stuff? Really?)

  12. (Do you seriously think I havenā€™t thought of this stuff? Really?)

    Lol, sorry.

I guess its like asking Yoda; ‘Why don’t you just use the force?’

can goods or frozen foods. How can you order produce or proteins by mail? I like to look/smell my fruits vegetables and meats before I

I buy almost everything online except clothes. Fresh meats, fruit, veg. All top quality here. I guess thats one of the benefits of living in a big city…

  13. No mention of TV, reading books or hanging out with (guy) friends.

Do you not watch TV (sports, news, etc).., do you not have any guy-friends..

I’m sure you read books or do you just listenĀ to audiobooks?

  14. Why dont you order online (mostly the same stuff I bet) and have it delivered?

Not available in my area, particularly for things like fresh meat and frozen goods.

I donā€™t live in a city where cool stuff like that is available. I live way out in the outer suburbs.

I have a very nice family owned all organic shop literally on the way from work. That is where I do most of my groceries. Talk about time efficiency. But having to cook myself every time is killing me as well. I often eat out but thats also not always ideal / cost efficient. I kinda combine and it kinda works.

By the way about the frozen food and cooking in advance and putting in fridge. This may seem time efficient but its not that healthy/tasty.

I am not a utilitarian with food at all, for me its important that its plenty and tastes good, and I dont mind to pay a lot for that. My food and drinks expenses are substantial fraction of my income (this includes my outings and exclusively shopping organic and fresh everything).

and buy stuff that is already pre-cut

I do, but you canā€™t get free range chicken this way, at least in my area.

I have tried some of this weekly delivery stuff, and it seems to me that the quality is just not that good compared to what I can easily buy myself. I have some really nice farmer markets and organic stores where I live/work so I am a bit spoiled in this regard.

Thatā€™s what I used to think as well, but I found that 3X per week is really high sex drive as compared to most other men.

I find that 3x per week is a minimum so that I am satisfied. I am not saying I always get it, thats something I still have to work on, but I am the once a day on average type (which I always thought was normal…). I could settle for every other because Id see I can still do some other stuff. Do you think its a good idea to accept a (temporary) monogamy if it would mean daily sex guaranteed and the extra time gained by not having to go on dates or organise multiple girls I could use to work on other things like investments and mission? Of course this would be temporary because as you point out it does not work long term and I would be honest to myself from the start that I am prepared that it will happen.

Haha, oohhhhh no no no. Become a professional writer and youā€™ll find out very quickly how it works. Most typos that people miss are not ones that can be caught by a spell checker. Just look back at the typos commenters here have pointed out in the past; a spellchecker could not have caught them. A) You need a human being, B) you usually need multiple human beings, and C) you canā€™t proofread your own work (effectively).

Yeah but do you really NEED it? I mean do you think it would affect your revenue (as a tangible example) that its that important to put this effort into it. I mean for a book, sure, thats a must, but for a free blog article. I know these are your marketing but I am curious if it is that important.

  15. I guess its like asking Yoda; ā€˜Why donā€™t you just use the force?ā€™

Are you talking about EpIII? I think he just ran out of mana there.

  16. Regarding the agreement of co-habitation / marriage financial protection: I’d like to see BD write a post about what’s in this document.Ā  Nothing specific to his situation, just some bullet points to make sure are included in such a document.
Judging by the attorney’s comment, he seems to have dotted all the “i’s and crossed all the “t”s.

  17. That’s neat your monthly meals with your kids.Ā  I’m only talking money and business with my future boys.Ā  Making money is not short term.Ā  You can’t be a party girl till ur 30, then make money a few years, then make money, have a kid, become a stay at home mom, make money for a couple more yrs, stop and have another kid, go back years later to start making money again.. that’s not real life.

And I’ll be only talking experiences and feelings with my future daughters.Ā  Seeing my younger sister get hit on regularly during her normal routine, her practicing her neutral bitch face, her and her gfs coming up with excuses to get out of situations with all too persistent boys makes one realize how different their mon. to sun. experiences are to a guy’s own.Ā  When was the last time you had to come up with lists of devious ways to leave situations with the opposite sex cause they were too persistent, touchy feeling with you trying to get you to open your legs for them?Ā  Um, never.

  18. Care to share the move in talk with us?

Someday. But I’m going to charge for that information. As always, the really good stuff you have to pay for.

    No mention of TV

Correct. I don’t watch TV. I don’t even have a TV signal coming into my house. TV is a time sucker, as well as a prime source of false Societal Programming. TV sucks.

    reading books

I normally read two books a month, but in the last few weeks I’ve had to put that on the back burner. You can go to the CJ Blog to always see the two books I’m currently reading.

    hanging out with (guy) friends

Correct. I don’t hang out with friends in person unless they’re giving me money (or have in the past), they’re related to me in some way, or they’re females I’m having sex with. But that’s just me.

Iā€™m sure you read books or do you just listenĀ to audiobooks?

    Always both.

Do you think its a good idea to accept a (temporary) monogamy if it would mean daily sex guaranteed and the extra time gained by not having to go on dates or organise multiple girls I could use to work on other things like investments and mission?

What do you think my answer to that is? Take a wild guess.

    And re-read this:

    https://alphamale20.com/blackdragonblog/2017/06/05/dont-need-date-lots-women/

Yeah but do you really NEED it? I mean do you think it would affect your revenue (as a tangible example) that its that important to put this effort into it. I mean for a book, sure, thats a must, but for a free blog article. I know these are your marketing but I am curious if it is that important.

Are you asking me if I want my blog posts to regularly have errors? Again, what do you think?

Regarding the agreement of co-habitation / marriage financial protection: Iā€™d like to see BD write a post about whatā€™s in this document.Ā  Nothing specific to his situation, just some bullet points to make sure are included in such a document.

I will soon go over it in detail with the guys in my coaching program. In terms of the public, I might answer that in broad generalities at some point, but that’s it.

Judging by the attorneyā€™s comment, he seems to have dotted all the ā€œiā€™s and crossed all the ā€œtā€s.

Oh no, more than that. It’s not just what I did in the documents, it’s how they were created, how they were agreed to, how they were signed, the extra sections added, etc. (Five different people had to sign them!)

And Iā€™ll be only talking experiences and feelings with my future daughters.

I just had lunch with my daughter and my parents. It was all emotions coming out of her, as usual. šŸ™‚

  19. Yeah consultants good lurk Western governments like using consultants cause it saves the taxpayers money Like sack all the public servants that specialize in their chosen field and then rehire them as consultants who charge like a wounded bull and then get told the taxpayer is getting value for money yeah right !!!

  20. At some point after your next book, you should write one called, “How to get married and have kids in the Western World.”Ā  Then charge for all the info you found out, and we’ll happily pay for it.

  21. Tell her to try barbell hip thrusts in the gym

Who says I need to work on my glutes? I like my small ass. I’ve actually been going to the gym, but I’m not working on getting a big ass. Sorry.

Is the stuff she says that interesting? I canā€™t imagine just listening to someone for a long time on regular basis unless it was a lecture and I was super interested in the topic.

Really?! I would think what I say is interesting. BD and I chat all of the time. I would assume at this point if he didn’t like to listen to me talk, he wouldn’t choose to spend a lifetime with me. You have to have some form of communication if you want a relationship. Is the stuffĀ you say that interesting? If you can’t imagine listening to someone on a regular basis, you should probably stick to being single. Communication is key.

Canā€™t you just write in some editor with a spell checker

If you write for a living, you can’t just rely on spell checker! BD would save a few bucks if all he needed was a spell checker. šŸ˜‰

  22. At some point after your next book, you should write one called, ā€œHow to get married and have kids in the Western World.ā€Ā  Then charge for all the info you found out, and weā€™ll happily pay for it.

I already talked about having kids in my main book. Devoted two chapters to it.

Regarding a book about marriage, my very next book will be about older men dating younger women, to be released probably in February or March. Several months after that, I’m releasing something huge and game-changing that I can’t talk about right now. Then after that, in 2019 or 2020, yes, I will release a book about being OLTR married. So yeah, I’m going to do it, but you’re going to have to wait a bit.

  23. BD, after numerous requests, I’m considering compiling months of facebook post into a book. What is your recommendation towards the best publishing option? How do you self publish? Would it be better to publish through amazon where they take a cut?

Thank you for any help brother..

  24. Are you removing parts in your Ultimate Younger Women Manual or just adding to it? That was the next book i was thinking of buying but now im wondering if I should just wait until February?

  25. BD have you looked into how much it would cost per month to hire a chef to do food shopping and come in once a day to cook/clean up?

  26.

Just my personal experience, but I donā€™t think that having a typical Mon-Fri, 9-5, societal programming-type work week is really all that bad.Ā  It depends on the place that you work at for sure and I am fortunate that my job is really an awesome place to work at and we do actually have very decent flexibility during our work day.

Regarding the entire week as a whole, I bet if it is somebody that has younger children though, that significantly impacts how your week is spent and your level of freedom; outside of work especially, regardless if you are self-employed or work a typical 9-5.Ā  But sure, I donā€™t have ultimate freedom during my work day; Iā€™m not able to go outside and take a walk at 4pm, but I live next to a national park, so I just do all of my fun outside stuff when I get home after 5pm for a few hours or longer if I wantā€¦ā€¦..but again if you have kids, thereā€™s no way you are able to do that five days a week after work.

  27. What is your recommendation towards the best publishing option? How do you self publish? Would it be better to publish through amazon where they take a cut?

    https://alphamale20.com/blackdragonblog/off-topic

Are you removing parts in your Ultimate Younger Women Manual or just adding to it?

Adding to it / updating it / re-writing it, just like with the last 3 books.

That was the next book i was thinking of buying but now im wondering if I should just wait until February?

You can. Or you can buy the book now and get your 40% discount off the new one when it comes out. Up to you.

BD have you looked into how much it would cost per month to hire a chef to do food shopping and come in once a day to cook/clean up?

A little. Whatever I saw was beyond my budget, but I’m very frugal and hate spending money.

I donā€™t think that having a typical Mon-Fri, 9-5, societal programming-type work week is really all that bad

It’s only not bad if you would chose it completely on your own anyway, and I really doubt you would.

I promise you that I’m happier with my schedule than you are with yours, and that you would be happier if you could set your own schedule. There’s even been scientific studies that prove this.

“It’s not that bad” is very different than, “I love this!”

  28. @Tim
Once a day I would charge 1500$-2000$ I personally know chefs that charge more or less. Who you cook for and the chefā€™s skill level makes a difference. Think dinner on average takes about 2 hours to cook from start to finish. Times that at 20$ per hour = 1200$ for 30 days.. is a baseline.

  29. It is all that bad for most men not sure how most women would feel without a 9-5 but: 1) You work for somebody else’s dreams 2) You can’t go on holidays or abroad whenever the hell you want 3) You cannot wake up whenever the hell you want 4) You can’t leave regularly just because, despite the flexibility 5) Nowadays people are expected to work over time without payment and most do so without complains 6) You depend from others mostly to get a raise etc. 7) Your work mostly dictates a huge chunk of your time management. It’s hell. And I’ve been in pleasant jobs also.

You don’t understand the power of location independent work. I can book a plane to Thailand and leave tomorrow if I choose to and stay there for a month without affecting my work. And since Thailand is cheaper my budget will not be affected that much. I would choose getting 50000 per year with this over 150000 with a 9 to 5 job even with flexibility and pleasant workplace.

You need to be in both situations to really appreciate this. Also being a woman is different. You want security and constant comfort over freedom. So not sure if most women would feel better without a 9-5 but with a LI job. Independents would surely prefer it.

  30. 60$-65$ for a nutritious dinner for 2-4 people in your own home including clean up is great if you consider the price of eating out for 2 at a restaurant and gas to drive there and back. CoughBD

  31. @Blackdragon

    Great article…

Just curious if you know anyone in your biz circle that are Angel Investors by chance?

Just a little background – I come from the Marketing Consulting, Leads Generation, IT sector and have been transiting my local house cleaning company I started in 2012 into a Nationwide last 12 months (www.SqueakyCleanHouse.com).Ā  Ā Additionally, I was the lead IT project manager on Teleflora.com’s Google Adwords (paid search) program for their 10K shops nationwide back in 2011.

In the last 12 months or so, I have been deploying my website as a “Referral Agency” which allows me to not franchise (headache) and make it into more of an Internet Biz Model virtually.Ā  The goal is so I can some day work from anywhere, including Dubai or Hong Kong;)Ā  Ā  The amount of SEO and tech work I have put into this site is crazy but there is always room for improvements.

My marketing strategy/idea is working like gangbusters and I am getting in Bookings from all over the USA now (and can prove this).Ā  But I could grow it much faster with some additional capital.Ā  Capital that would be used to build some custom software, marketing suite, office space and maybe a virtual assistant or two.Ā  Ā  Actually, my Nationwide bookings have taken over my local OKC bookings now for the first time ever and it is very exciting to see my baby working.Ā  Ā But damn am I busy lately!Ā  Too busy to even see my FBs or barely my OLTR I am so covered up! LOL

Any ideas anyone has is greatly appreciated!

  32. Tell her to try barbell hip thrusts in the gym

Who says I need to work on my glutes? I like my small ass. Iā€™ve actually been going to the gym, but Iā€™m not working on getting a big ass. Sorry.

Well I said it to BD’s benefit becauseĀ he likes a big ass, but women have a harder time than men putting on any significant muscle anyway, so trying glute exercises is more likely to make yours tighter and nicer looking than “too big” for your taste.

  33. Unless you’re an extrovert, I don’t see the happy-making in idle socializing.

I monitor my social media intake for a reason: I like being a Millennial woman not dependant on anti depression/anxiety meds.

  34. https://alphamale20.com/blackdragonblog/off-topic

Now I understand why you use proofreading. I guess that page has not been proof-read… Good example of what happens in that case though.

This is one of the upsides of living with a woman, if you chose one who can cook well and likes doing it you have good food on the table all round and it costs you very little to nothing. Sometimes these girls even clean. If she does all that its not really a bad deal that shes a free loader when you compare it to these prices. Which makes me think how much would a sugar daddy game cost per month on avarage for a hot girl who also cooks for you? If we get to prices similar to the cheff I dont see a point in hiring a cheff.

It is all that bad for most men not sure how most women would feel without a 9-5 but: 1) You work for somebody elseā€™s dreams 2) You canā€™t go on holidays or abroad whenever the hell you want 3) You cannot wake up whenever the hell you want 4) You canā€™t leave regularly just because, despite the flexibility 5) Nowadays people are expected to work over time without payment and most do so without complains 6) You depend from others mostly to get a raise etc. 7) Your work mostly dictates a huge chunk of your time management. Itā€™s hell. And Iā€™ve been in pleasant jobs also.

I recently started at a new company that has 9-4 core hours and rest of the hours you can do when you want. So I do it while commuting / at home, at least on paper. In practice I have found that I get most of my stuff done in much less than even the 9-4 and use the rest of the hours while I am there to do other things like do background reading on investment options etc and in the future if this continue will use the time to set up own company. The exact leave and arrival times are also somewhat flexible if one doesnt have meetings but I hate the regular morning meetings starting at 9 or sometimes sooner (remember I also have a commute…). I used to think its strange I get most of my stuff done in much less time and everyones still happy with my performance but I have noticed others often either watch funny videos at work or take phone calls their own side business during work hours. One of my managers even left recently in the middle of the day saying he has to go do some stuff for another company. Like BD says most of the work day is not spent working, so if you can be efficient you have spare time you can use to do other stuff whilst still getting paid. Then its a good platform to set up your own business.

Also being a woman is different. You want security and constant comfort over freedom.

Is a typical workplace security and comfort? I think most women would prefer to work from home for comfort but then most are also quite social so they like going somewhere and chatting with coworkers and feeling they are like friends with them. Again, makes you understand why people need 40 hour work weeks to do 10-20h worth of tasks.

I monitor my social media intake for a reason: I like being a Millennial woman not dependant on anti depression/anxiety meds.

For myself I find it helpful for my sanity and happiness to keep social media and news intake to minimum. But now I have a new addiction: watching prices of cryptocurrencies and obsessing over purchases I should have made.

  35. 60$-65$ for a nutritious dinner for 2-4 people in your own home including clean up is great if you consider the price of eating out for 2 at a restaurant and gas to drive there and back. CoughBD

Dude, give it a rest. I don’t eat at restaurants every day, nor does anyone else, so your comparison is meaningless. $60 per meal, every day, for the rest of your life, is ridiculously expensive, even for a guy who makes a six figure income like me. Even half that number is expensive.

Just curious if you know anyone in your biz circle that are Angel Investors by chance?

Off topic, and please stop trying to sell your stuff on my blog. Thanks.

Now I understand why you use proofreading. I guess that page has not been proof-readā€¦ Good example of what happens in that case though.

Exactly. I make shitloads of mistakes when I type. And it hasn’t.

Which makes me think how much would a sugar daddy game cost per month on avarage for a hot girl who also cooks for you?

Not relevant unless your sugar baby lives with you, and trust me, you don’t want a sugar baby living with you. (Though I guess she could not live with you but could could bulk-prep food for you once a week, meaning you’d have to microwave it, and have some dishes to clean or throw away.)

  36. BD

I didn’t really think you were going to say pack your knifes and get over here tomorrow. I just put it out there. Ā With maybe a .000001% chance I could cook for someone I have a ton of respect for. That’s all

  37. I didnā€™t really think you were going to say pack your knifes and get over here tomorrow. I just put it out there. Ā With maybe a .000001% chance I could cook for someone I have a ton of respect for. Thatā€™s all

LOL. You seriously thought he would say yes? I don’t have a blog based business like this (yet?) but I would not hire one of my readers to be my chef, I’d keep that separate.

Not relevant unless your sugar baby lives with you, and trust me, you donā€™t want a sugar baby living with you.

So do all those older guys who are living with a hot super young student girl (which clearly is a sugar daddy thing… just look at the way the girl dresses, I am sure he paid for that…) are making a big mistake? Well what if she lives at her own place and just comes over sometimes and when she does then she cooks and cleans… ? Yeah I agree I prob wouldnt want her to stay around all the time but perhaps sometimes she could.

  38. $60 per meal, every day, for the rest of your life, is ridiculously expensive, even for a guy who makes a six figure income like me. Even half that number is expensive.

It depends on income and lifestyle. If you live in a mansion with servants then this is a small cost compared to the rest.

Though I guess she could not live with you but could could bulk-prep food for you once a week, meaning youā€™d have to microwave it, and have some dishes to clean or throw away.

And sugar daddy game is way out of my budget, but if I did that I would not care about the once a week rule because if I am paying for her I can just ditch her and replace her when drama happens.

By the way I dont have a microwave and you dont need it to reheat stuff. You can reheat stuff on stove / in the overn. Its much nicer and healthier.

  39. Never know until you put it out there. He mentioned personal chef and I devoted a huge part of my life to culinary arts. btw im kind of new at this whole commenting thing. This was the first post I commented on at all. Glad I put a smile on your face AlphaOmega ?

  40. By the way I dont have a microwave and you dont need it to reheat stuff. You can reheat stuff on stove / in the overn. Its much nicer and healthier.

What’s unhealthy about a microwave oven?

  41. Glad I put a smile on your face AlphaOmega

Plus your name makes me think of Odeen, the rational alien from The Gods Themselves. Very good book by the way.

Whatā€™s unhealthy about a microwave oven?

There are several things. Many of them are unproven, true, but I think the one about nutritious value of the food degrading is. The point is its completely unnecessary, unless you really dont have an owen / stove. But best thing is to cook fresh every time.

My strategy is to cook sometimes and sometimes I eat out (relatively cheaply, but still good, like a big nice soup at a hipster cafe or stake of the week menu in a pub).

  42. @Anon

Nothing if you use glass dishes to cook it in. Plastics most likely can leach into your food. I’ve trained with a chef in New Zealand and Sicily that use a microwave.

  43. So do all those older guys who are living with a hot super young student girl (which clearly is a sugar daddy thingā€¦ just look at the way the girl dresses, I am sure he paid for thatā€¦) are making a big mistake?

Yes, a huge mistake, as I’ve said many times and in many ways. Those are short-sighted or high-drama guys who are just asking for future problems.

Well what if she lives at her own place and just comes over sometimes and when she does then she cooks and cleansā€¦ ?

    Yeah that’s fine.

It depends on income and lifestyle. If you live in a mansion with servants then this is a small cost compared to the rest.

Duh. No one here lives in a mansion and has servants. You’re arguing just to argue now.

I would not care about the once a week rule because if I am paying for her I can just ditch her and replace her when drama happens.

Then you don’t mind drama, which is fine. I do. My goal is to not to have to experience the drama in the first place.

By the way I dont have a microwave and you dont need it to reheat stuff. You can reheat stuff on stove / in the overn. Its much nicer and healthier.

And slower. Fuck that. I don’t have the time it sit around and wait for a stove 2-3 times a day for the rest of my life. Microwave all the way, baby. (And I don’t care about “losing vitamins” or whatever the fuck. I already take a massive amount of vitamins every day; I’ll be fine.)

Admit it BD you wrote this post just so you could use that image again.

Fuck yeah man. I have that image plastered on my entire living room wall.

  44. Hey BD just curious about the upkeep on your house Do you do it yourself like gardening Painting cleaning etc Like do a blitz on it once a month or do you pay someone to do home maintance for you ? Cheers

  45. When I talk to my daughter, itā€™s all about feelings, experiences, and nerd stuff like superheroes and sci-fi. When I talk to my son, itā€™s all business. Weā€™re men.

I must be an atypical man then. I prefer talking about people, feelings, experiences and art than bussiness.

  46. The natural supplements you are taking – As far as I recall they are just regular vitamin supplements of sorts?

Most other supplements (i.e. ginseng) are completely useless and are only being sold due to SP. There are a few with some clinical evidence though, but I’d suggest reading up on that before taking it.

(Same goes for certain marketedĀ drugsĀ though, but that’s another story).

  47. Very cool BD, few questions:

    – 2 books per month isn’t a lot, quite little actually for a guy who enjoys reading like you, did you read more in the past? I love to read but always struggle to find time for it, especially in this day and age when there are tons of interesting blogs (like this one). I mostly read non-fiction (aka learning) books. Fiction/novel are cool too but sometimes feel like wasting time (at my age, maybe).

    – How much time do you spend per day to update news? You don’t watch TV News Channels so probably update stuff via online sources and podcasts? What kind of daily news do you think are essentials that an Alpha must know? (business and investment for sure, technology? entertainment? sport? Hell, updating news and researching hot topics sometimes could be a big time sucker.)

    – Is the blog post writing time (both over CJ’s and BD’s) considered SW or IIW, or another category? I miss those time management articles you used to post on sublimeyourtime.

  48. For cleaning I have some experience with paying students to do it. Which works for once in a while because you have to be there and they dont always come on regular basis, but its cheap and you can get young student girls do it for you and then flirt with them. Good way to optimise time: get cleaning done while I am doing something else and at the start or end I can flirt with her and maybe it will turn out as something, so I am meeting potential dates also. Of course if it does work out I’d stop hiring her for cleaning.

  49. kind of related as a person’s schedule has a lot to do with his interactions with others who live with him, asking you to go deeper.Ā  You are planning to live with someone under the same roof.Ā  This has the potential to interfere with your way of living even with the best and most considerate person who agrees to certain parameters.Ā  In addition, the concept of living in close proximity with someone regardless of how similar or compatible two or more people are and how dedicated to consideration each is has the potential to lead to an eventual disgust with the person yielding ultimate contempt.Ā  You also have to moderate your behavior much more often.Ā  The idea of having no escape from a person, the loss of autonomy, privacy and even mystery seems to be a societal construct in its own right.Ā  Just the acts of compromising alone could become burdensome.Ā  Perhaps I am just asking if it is destined to fail at some point and further if the whole thing should never be engaged or assumed to be permanent in the first place.Ā  Would this make an OLTR impossible?Ā  I had a great cohabitation and we were extremely similar and needed our own boundaries within the house.Ā  It seems now in retrospect that even with the best person, the domicile becomes a type of voluntary prison once you are no longer fully autonomous.Ā  The trade off is it joyful and fulfilling, but will it last and not be the ultimate cause of the end of the relationship?Ā  I see much evidence that when couples maintain separate spaces, they have better relationships.Ā  This is becoming quite common among people that i know.

  50. Do you read any regular blogs/magazines in addition to books? If so, which?

Could you elaborate more on what Improve Income Work means for you? like finding new clients for your consulting business or increasing traffic for your blogs?

  51. Hey BD just curious about the upkeep on your house Do you do it yourself like gardening Painting cleaning etc Like do a blitz on it once a month or do you pay someone to do home maintance for you?

I outsource as much as humanly possible, as always. I have maids clean the house. I have gardeners mow the lawn and take care of the yard. For home repairs, I try to do those myself which forces me to learn these things, but if I can’t make it happen I call a handyman.

The natural supplements you are taking ā€“ As far as I recall they are just regular vitamin supplements of sorts?

    http://calebjonesblog.com/vitamins/

Plus I take a natural thyroid supplement that I know works because my blood work showed my T3 improved shortly after I started taking it.

    2 books per month isnā€™t a lot

It is compared to the vast majority of humans.

did you read more in the past?

Much more. In the last four years I’ve had to drop or reduce a lot of different activities to get more focused with my long-term goals and Mission.

love to read but always struggle to find time for it, especially in this day and age when there are tons of interesting blogs (like this one).

Set a goal to read just 30 minutes a day (or 20), schedule the time in, set a timer, and do it.

How much time do you spend per day to update news?

Very little. I do it on the fly, while while I eat, while I get ready in the bathroom in the morning, etc. Rarely do I just sit and stare at a news video while not doing something else.

You donā€™t watch TV News Channels so probably update stuff via online sources and podcasts?

Yes, although those sources are heavily biased too, if not more so.

What kind of daily news do you think are essentials that an Alpha must know? (business and investment for sure, technology? entertainment? sport? Hell, updating news and researching hot topics sometimes could be a big time sucker.)

Business and economics are the only required ones. If you have more money and your money is more international, then international news is good too. Political news is purely optional; the West is dying and there’s no stopping this, so getting worked up about politics are only for people on the left and right who enjoy being angry and/or being part of a tribe.

Is the blog post writing time (both over CJā€™s and BDā€™s) considered SW or IIW, or another category?

SW. Writing blog posts doesn’t increase my income; it sustains my current income.

I miss those time management articles you used to post on sublimeyourtime.

Yep, yet another thing I had to stop doing a few years ago. (I occasionally throw one up at the CJ Blog though.)

You are planning to live with someone under the same roof.Ā  This has the potential to interfere with your way of living even with the best and most considerate person who agrees to certain parameters.Ā  In addition, the concept of living in close proximity with someone regardless of how similar or compatible two or more people are and how dedicated to consideration each is has the potential to lead to an eventual disgust with the person yielding ultimate contempt.

Yep, all correct, as I’ve said many times: living with a woman should only be done by an older man who really wants it, who is a strong Alpha, with lots of sexual and relationship experience, who is always nonmonogamous to some degree, and who always keeps all finances enforceably, legally separate. This avoids most (though not all) the negatives normal men experience while living with a traditional wife. Failure to do any of those things means you’re just asking for trouble.

Perhaps I am just asking if it is destined to fail at some point and further if the whole thing should never be engaged or assumed to be permanent in the first place.

Possibly. I will make a detailed blog post here next month on the odds I place on PF and I lasting certain time frames. Wait until then.

Do you read any regular blogs/magazines in addition to books? If so, which?

Magazines, no, I live in the 21st century. I read various economic and business blogs when I can. I listed a few here. I don’t read any PUA blogs/forums anymore (too emotional) and usually don’t read any manosphere blogs (too angry or depressing) though I do pop in sometimes and take a look around at some of the bigger manosphere names. I probably should read more of those, but it’s become “work” to do so. (You can bitch about SJW’s and feminists so many times before it gets boring and stupid.)

Could you elaborate more on what Improve Income Work means for you? like finding new clients for your consulting business or increasing traffic for your blogs?

Correct, those are some good examples.

  52. BD:
You’ve been watching Breaking Bad; what do you think?

I know you don’t watch much TV, smart, it’s usually very shallow and predictable. Even the crap that gets high ratings. Though of course there are exceptions. I think Breaking Bad is one of them and in spades. Head and shoulders above the rest. With your nerd loving side have you jumped into Game of Thrones? The dialog has weakened since passing the Martin books but still one of the best shows in TV history to almost any viewer.

  53. I call bullshit on this post; no one can stop playing Civilization 5 after only an hour. šŸ™‚

BD, you sound like you get a hell of a lot done every week. I know a lot of that is due to your time management system (bought your book), but you’ve got to have a lot of personal drive too. Have you always been so driven, or is it something you had to train up a bit? That’s always been a sticking point for me. It’s way too easy to keep playing Civ, especially when I’m already quite successful by conventional standards.

  54. Youā€™ve been watching Breaking Bad; what do you think?

It’s good. Depressing, but well done.

With your nerd loving side have you jumped into Game of Thrones?

GoT sucks, and I’ve talked about it over at my other blog. It’s got great characters and dialogue but that’s all. George RR Martian can’t write a plot worth shit. I actually think the show got a little better (or less bad) once it surpassed the books and they didn’t have to follow Martin’s meandering plot lines anymore.

I call bullshit on this post; no one can stop playing Civilization 5 after only an hour. ?

I hear you man. It’s hard. Sometimes I cheat a little and throw in an extra 10 minutes.

Have you always been so driven, or is it something you had to train up a bit?

I’ve always been driven. I grew up poor and hated it, and like Tony Robbins talks about, I have a very low threshold for pain and unhappiness, so I’m motivated to make sure I live a really good life. Most people don’t seem to mind being angry, sexless, poor, etc. I do mind. A lot.

Itā€™s way too easy to keep playing Civ, especially when Iā€™m already quite successful by conventional standards.

I addressed that here. If you have truly hit all of your financial goals, you can kick back and relax and play all the Civ V you want. I haven’t yet. I will when I’m 52 or 53. I’m 45 so I’ve got a few more years of empire building before I move into the next phase of my life.

If you haven’t hit all of your financial goals and you still don’t feel motivated to get to work, you need to ask yourself how you would feel if 10 or 20 years went by and you still hadn’t hit those goals. I’m terrified of being an old man without my financial and lifestyle goals done and behind me. Again though, I grew up poor and have a low pain threshold, so this is probably easier for me.

  55. Hey BD,

I hope this isn’t off topic but what exactly does IT marketing do?

General answer or direct me to the right information would be appreciated.

    Thanks

  56. I hope this isnā€™t off topic but what exactly does IT marketing do?

General answer or direct me to the right information would be appreciated.

I talk about it in detail in my SMIC program in the hidden forum. I market to IT companies past customer lists and take long-term commissions from any resurrected clients.

  57. On the way to no-marriage-come-what-may harbour, you were the lighthouse that steered many a man away from the jagged rocks along the path. BD what really informs your decision to move in and marry PF? Why go through the trouble and risk (i know you got a tight legal document in place, but why bother marrying at all?).Most of all why go against simple practical advice you have given before?

ION, what plugin do you use for your comment section? Its awesome!

  58. so he can write a book about why not to live with someone OR how it should be done better lol šŸ˜‰

All I know after trying it is that if I am making over $100k annually (or wealthy) and in good health, I have a hard time making sense of living with someone now that I tasted being single, opps I meant FREE.

Notice I didn’t say getting married or open marriage.Ā  I told my OLTR that even if we decide to move out and get separate places again, that does not mean that I don’t want to see her again or stay same status.

It just means I want to simplify life and go back to when it was fun and I had my privacy and alone time.

I told my son if you get married, don’t ever live w/ her!Ā  He goes “huh”?Ā  LMBOĀ  Ā It is social programming that if we get married, that means we have to live together.Ā  Ā I disagree.

But then it does make one begin to ask…..then what is purpose of Marriage?Ā  Especially if you have all the legal docs done to protect one.

Besides, it seems to me that Women always feel like the relationship always has to be “going somewhere” at all times.Ā  The only place a relationship can go after a marriage is Divorce lol.

So, I told my lady couple weeks ago that why don’t we do a Marriage that is renewable annually? LMBOĀ  Ā  (I could tell she wanted to slap me)

  59. On the way to no-marriage-come-what-may harbour, you were the lighthouse that steered many a man away from the jagged rocks along the path.

That was never my position. My position was if you want to settle down with a woman, do it correctly, not the way you were told by society, since that doesn’t work anymore.

BD what really informs your decision to move in and marry PF? Why go through the trouble and risk (i know you got a tight legal document in place, but why bother marrying at all?).

    Read this.

Most of all why go against simple practical advice you have given before?

Where exactly have I gone against any advice I’ve given in the past? I’ve been very consistent about this. Read the first section of this article.

ION, what plugin do you use for your comment section? Its awesome!

Decent Comments and TinyMCE Visual Editor.

  60. BD, can you tell us how you are maintaining attraction high in your OLTR relationship and how you plan to continue to do so? If your weeks are the same, how do you do it?

  61. BD, can you tell us how you are maintaining attraction high in your OLTR relationship

The usual BD cardinal relationship rules. Don’t hang out too often, don’t call her too often, make her cum every time you have sex, don’t talk about the relationship often, don’t give her drama, soft next if nessessary, etc, etc.

how you plan to continue to do so?

Once she moves in? That’s a big topic for another time. And yes, I will talk about it, in great detail (though much of it will be in book form you’ll have to pay for).

If your weeks are the same, how do you do it?

It works because my behavior is consistent. I stick with relationship management systems that work, and don’t deviate.
